new waters.

i don't typically do family sessions, but i don't think i was allowed to say no to this one! ;) after i agreed to do these for a family friend, i realized that all the family sessions i had ever done were three, maybe four people and half were under hip height. i found myself freaked out and unsure of what i would do with them. in the end, despite all ridiculous moves on my part, we had some images that i really like.

and if i'm ever convinced to do another one, i swear i won't keep squatting down like i were photographing a toddler... old habits die hard, i guess...

l.

there is dance in this girl. i had a lot of fun with L the other day... my friend christina (www.capturetheexperience.com) joined us and we traipsed around the arbor lakes area of maple grove. i love that when i asked L to walk across the crosswalk, she danced. i don't think she can help it!

my first newborn of the season was sweet little E. all i have to say is that i wish every newborn i photographed were this calm and quiet... i loved it!
